The ruling came on the fourth leg where Maja Alm ran away from the other teams and got four minutes lead.

Pan Århus began with junior Miri Thrane Ödum, only 18 years old. She mades a couple of small mistakes and the team change over as 43d, 4:15 behind the lead, Norwegian Frol IL. Ita Klingenberg on the second leg advanced to eighth place after running really fast and the margin to lead team IFK Lidingö was 2.12.

On third leg Ida Bobach took the team to lead in a three-man group with IFK Mora and IFK Lidingö. Then came the decision quickly.

- I saw the other teams in the first two controls, since I have been alone, explained Maja Alm, who went away to a lead of 4:09 before a group of four teams, IFK Lidingö, Göteborg-Majorna, Järla Orientering and SK Pohjantähti (Finnland).

Signe Söes had any problems to manage safely and secure the first historical Danish victory.
